Creating the perfect prints for our sustainable line

We’re particularly excited to bring you this week’s blog post, which will reveal -drumroll, please- the prints for our eco-friendly textiles! After working diligently for months with German designer Anne Freitag, we’ve settled on several looks that we really hope you will enjoy. The process of selecting these looks was long, with so many small details to work out, and so many considerations to make. „What do children want to wear?“ „What themes will appeal to our customers?“ „Which colors will feel imaginative and playful on a pair of pants or a dress?“ Those are just three of the many questions we had to ask ourselves in planning the collection. The answers we came up with are reflected in the 6 prints and the 4 stripe combinations you will see below.

Keep in mind that colors can vary considerably based on your computer or phone screen, so some shades might appear lighter or darker than they will when printed onto our GOTS-certified cotton fabrics. Contrasts between two colors can also appear slightly differently than they will when printed. We will soon be featuring these prints directly on the page for our Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, which will launch in less than one week on Friday, August 21st. In the meantime, we’d love to hear what you have to say about them. So take a minute to glance at the prints below, and leave a line or two here on the blog. You can also send us some more personal feedback if you choose at Stefanie[at]Pitupi[dot]se or Maria[at]Pitupi[dot]de.

We’ve also included the overall color palette for the first collection, so that you can get a better idea of how customers will be able to easily mix and match textiles to create an adorable ensemble for a child. Happy browsing and enjoy your Sunday!
